Joining aluminium pontoons to a steel frame

Hi, I am about to fit aluminium pontoons to my steel framed boat and I'm worried about electroysis. Do I mount them insulated or bonded? Do I use a common earth through the frame or not? I am getting conflicting ideas. Some facts that may be important: No generator, 12 volt only. No shore power at the marina - mains power earth leakage not an issue. New (2004) 50HP EFI bigfoot.
