I aquired a 16 ft. Starcraft Jupiter last year. It's got plenty of deck space (for me anyway), it's a V-hull (not sure what differentiates a semi-v from a v-hull), it has hard chines (which I think I will like), and a close bow. The best part is I paid very little for it (a few hundred), repainted, re-floored, re-did just about everything. I'm very please with it. The restoration work is very easily done by someone who is handy and has basic knowledge and is willing to put in a fair bit of work and do some research.
