Your motor mount is isolated from the toons but the lower unit is in the water with the toons. Your steel frame makes things more difficult. I thought the motor mount was part of the toons. In my opinion you need to bond the motor to the toons so in a sense they are one. Straps should work. We may need to rethink the frame I`ll be honest I`m not sure with your setup and motor mount. There seems only 2 ways Bond the steel to the toons carefully and thourghly.Be sure the motor is bonded to both.Or isolate the steel and isolate the motor from the steel and bond it to the toons.I think I would go to the library and read up on electrolysis.Basically if metals are bonded together it minimizes electrolysis. If they are seperate and not isolated electrolysis occurs. Keep in mind I`m not an expert just working from logic.
