I am at the begining of a winter project to revise the interior of my 22ft Crestliner. The boat is a 1987 and I have owned it since new. The boat is fished heavily and currently has a carpeting floor. The carpet is worn out and I have a couple of soft spots in the floor. My plan is to change from carpet to vinyl flooring. Fishing sandy areas like lake Michigan makes a mess out of the carpet. Anyone have any tips to share for this type of conversion? I have just started removing the floor and plan to cut new wood and install in the spring. I plan on designing and building new storage areas for tackle. Again any advice is appreciated. I am considering adding a wash down system as well. Any thoughts? Thanks
