2978 Aluminum Starcraft

I have an opportunity to purchase a 1978 Starcraft that is in good condition, except it is badly in need of an outside paint job. Is this something I could do myself, or where do you get aluminum boats painted? Do you have any idea of the expense involved? Thanks for any help Barry
