Coating Plywood. Polyester Resin or Epoxy Resin?

OK. After extensive reading and research, I've decided to replace my 16ft aluminum boat floor with BC exterior grade plywood. Taking into consideration the wonderful expert advice on this site, I am convinced this plywood must be coated. However, I don't know whether to use polyester or epoxy resin to do it. Polyester is certainly cheaper, therefore, preferred if it will perform. Please advise. Thank you
