What is the procedure for pressure testing pontoons? I know this is done at a VERY LOW psi. Do any of you know the correct way to do this? The boat is a 1987 20' Harris FloteBote. What is the maximum psi I should use? There is only one fitting (on the rear of the pontoon) that goes into the pontoon. It looks like there are sections welded together. Is the interior of the pontoon totally open from front to back so that one fitting will pressurize the entire length of the pontoon? If pontoon is not open internally from front to back what has to be done to test the entire length?
