I have the identical boat that is showen that I purchased new in 1953.Running a 1959 Merc 35A on it. They OBC'd for 50HP. With a 3/4 inch shim on the transom and good conditions,it will GPS in the 40 to 42 MPH range.Very little hull in the water. Great boats!
