M & M Aerospace Hardware, Inc makes a solid end pop rivet that, with a good sealer, can be used under the waterline. Part Number is = AB6-4C. These are extremely HARD to pull with a regular hand pop rivet gun. We use a pnuematic gun from Harbor Freight pull them. The rivets are used on aircraft seats to hold the seat pan in place.
