My son took my boat with 70hp Yahama motor on it and when I got it back the transom was pulled away from the back .is this hard to fix? I bought 2 pieces of aluminum 1/4 and thought of putting one on each side and I made two bracketn out of unistrut and thought that I would mount these to the floor by the floor braces. because I don,t know how to take the back apart with all the rivets that hold the transom together. will this work nedd help and adivce.
