Putting Deck in 12 FT aluminum Semi-V

What do you guys think about putting a deck from front to back in a 12 Ft Semi-V? Can i leave the benches in and just lay plywood over them, or do i have to use supports in between the benches? I'm no little boy (250lbs)and fish alone or with 1 other person,so i don't wanna make a mistake that could cost me a wet day on the water.
