I`m not going to be much help but that said.Place them where it is comfortable for you to row.Clamp in place with C clamp to get the feel. Also be sure the oars are the right length. A little long is better than too short.I`m sure oars are discussed farther down the site.Leave enough space between the handles so you can`t smash a
thumb. Probably wouldn`t be a problem with a 67"beam. The oars on my 4ft. wide punt worked great but I had to cut 1/2" off the handles to stop the smashed thumb epidemic. Spike
