Grease will loose it's viscosity over time and seals have a finite lifespan, therefore hubs should be repacked and seals replaced every 2 years with light to moderate use. Use marine trailer grease and I perfer $5 dust caps over bearing buddies (see my other post that for some reason wasn't attached to this thread). Good luck.
