I have 3 fishfinders. One of them is a 10 yr. old Hummingbird 100. I decided to make a side-finder out of it.A simple job. I can do 360 degrees with it and position it (Transducer)to look down or to the side at any angle. It works good. Interested ????
I know it did not answer ur how to choose a good fish-finder-I just sent it out for gen. info. John
