Speaking genericly
Carbs typically will flood when the motor is tilted for transport.Stumbling on acceleration
can be a number of things.Most common would probably be a lean condition.It would be a flat stumble.If the carb was too rich(flooding)the stumble would be more like a shudder.If the timing/syncronization was off it might stumble as well.
