The parts breakdown for your year of motor didn't have an illustration although all the part numbers were listed.

You may have to click on a later model of the 650-4 or even one of the Inline Sixes (gearboxes were similar so you could get a good idea of the parts relationship) to find a picture.

You may want to plug any part #'s you get from the Doug Russell site into the www.mercurypartsexpress.com site for the latest price and superceded part # info as I've found the Doug Russell site at times wasn't too current. But a good resource for older motors as the official Merc site doesn't go back that far.

Once you have the Merc part # and price, you can compare with Sierra aftermarket prices at this site:

The OEM-to-Sierra interchange feature is quite useful. Likely if Sierra does make an equivalent part, it'll be cheaper thru Boatfix. I ordered a Sierra Merc Inline impeller there for less than $10, retail is over $20 !
