Hey Spike, thanks, hope all is good with you! Sounds great, i hope some of your info can help other boat motor newbie's also. Yes, plan to replace impeller but won't be able to right away. Kept one hand on heads just to make sure and didn't seem to get hot at all. Thanks for info on oil slick, kind of figured something like tht but really wanted to make sure. I imagine not running in years might make a dif too? Will be running this one in river (hope :-) and the other smaller in Canal which is a state park here, hopefully smaller one won't pollute as much, not much current in canal y'know how canal's are. but noticed last year that a lot of the 'ratter's' didn't worry much about it. Ha ha, Jeff had to tell me where exhaust was, I thought it was an intake. And that exhaust was up in motor house. Hey, I'll email you tonight with some pics. Thanks and great day!
