If you are going to attempt to drill out a bolt that is in the head of anything, or even tap the center of it, I recommend making a jig that fits into the remaining bolt holes. The jig will feature a shaft a littel larger than the drill bit and will keep it centered over the part you are driling. That hole you drill has to be straight and I have seen people really mess this up and have to discard the head. Those bolts are really hard.
