The choke is engaging the lever for the butterfly but I haven't looked into the carb to verify it is actually closing. It seems to choke it fine when it does decide to run. I choke it all the way until it fires up and then quickly push it all the way in once it's running. That's the last time I touch the choke the rest of the day.
The bulb is firming up, the fuel supply seems to be OK since when it is running everything runs smooth.
I'm thinking it might be an "early morning it's cold" type of thing. That's why I'm thinking the sarting spray may help and once it's fired up I'll be good to go.
