In my opinion plugs are plugs.The only difference
is the higher priced "platinum" etc. type may run longer.More important is proper heat range,gap and properly torqued.If surface gap are specified use surface gap plugs.You could try a tickle of choke to see if it helps the stumble.Be sure the idle is set right.Float levels are right.Be sure you are running the proper octane rating most motors will operate on 87 octane but some require 89 or even higher.
Don`t run higher than required nor lower than required.A friend had a motor rated for 89 It ran ok on 87 but he swore it ran better on 90.He couldn`t get 89 so always ran it on 90.Of course the 90 was closer to the required rating than 87.
