Remove the black kill wire from the power pack. If still no spark on any cylinder you can bet it is the stator. There are two trigger coils and the power pack has four separate circuits. The only item that is common to all four cylinders is the stator. The early stators had two black charge coils and exposed alternator windings. These were very unreliable and most of them failed in the first year or so. The later and replacement stator was green and totally encapsulated the charge coils and alternator windings. If you have the earlier style stator, look no further. Go ahead and get the later style stator and you will have a very reliable ignition system.
