In my opinion the only advantage the Eska has is price. There is nothing wrong with the Tecumseh motor but when you combine it with the complications of the outboard I think they become unreliable.I sure wouldn't put too much money into it.I get the impression the carb with built in fuel pump is a constant problem.Gas tanks are known to rust.I feel they are underpowered.Add it all up and I would stick with a major brand.I think you will find parts easier to get, they are smoother, quieter, more powerful and most run on 50:1 after 64.
If you don't mind tinkering and can keep it running without spending a fortune give the Eska a try.
