Any help here is greatly appreciated.
The piece of plastic that joins the metal cable and the manual assist lever on my 40 HP Evinrude is broken. It's currently in the 'down' position so I can't trailer it anywhere. Plus it leaves me very little room to get in there and try to grab the cable with something.
How can I release the assist so I can raise the motor to trailer it.
