50hp Mercury front motor mount

I am thinking of purchacing a older Bass Tracker with
an 83 year model 50hp Mercury motor. The front motor
mount is broken but the engine is otherwise in good
shape (know owner very well). How much of a job is
it to change out the front mount? Have been told the
power head has to be removed, accurate???

Any shortcuts would be appreciated...
