I have 2 engines are they worth fixing

recently i accuired 2 outboard engines, a johnson meteor 100 horse and a gale sovereign 60 horse. they were given to me by a friend of mine whose dad left them outside for several years. the gale had both heads off when i picked it up and showed signs of corrosion on the heads. the johnson was supposedly "rebuilt". they had to be outside for at least 10 years in upstate ny. i am woundering if it is worth trying to get one of these bad boys running or am i just better of selling them and trying to get a better engine. whichever is cheeper is going to be my choise.
