I'm a new boater, and I'm looking at a 2000 Johnson 2-stroke 25 hp to power my 14 foot batteau. I've heard concerns about the reliability of Johnson outboards. I'll be fishing mostly with my kids, so reliability is key to me. Your thougts and suggestsions about the reliability, or otherwise, of this motor would be most appreciated.
