1970 Chrysler 45 Hp no fire

I have had this motor for since it was new and it has always run great. It has been sitting up for three years and now I am trying to get it cleaned up and running again. The problem is I am not getting fire to the spark plugs and I am not very familiar with boat igniion systems. The solenoid sticks everytime you try to start the motor and I am unable to find a replacement. My questions are can anyone point me in the right direction in troubleshooting this problem?
Does anyne know where to buy parts for this late model
of motor.
