1980's sears gamefisher electric trolling motor

I have a 1980's sears gamefisher electric trolling motor (powerficient 14lb thrust model # 217 590142)with a DEAD transistor.
The transistor has no markings on it for make or model.
Can anyone tell me what transistor I need.
Any info would be appreciated.
