I took the lower unit off today and found the waterpump. It looks like a rotary pump to me? It is black and spins on the driveshaft. Looks like it spins in neutral also. It appears to be flexible but also has take a "set " from years of storage. I'd like to replace it with a new one. I also lost the little pin that engages the rotor on the shaft when I was blowing off debris with compressed air. I didn't realize it was loose in the shaft. Where can I get these parts? BTW the oil in the lower end did not have any water in it at all but appeared kinda black, can I use regular automotive hypoid gear oil? Thanks: Mike
