I appreciate the feed back. I have done all I can with props, jack plates, and what not. I have a 25hp and an old 18(shear pin props are too much trouble). Weight is a very big issue. I run into too many logs an such to use the bigger motor. The larger motor can't take the abuse and the boat transum can't take the beating of that much weight over and over. I guess I was just hunting some quick way to boost the hp. i bought boysen reeds, and I will probable try to port and polish. Any-way, thanks for the feed back. Any advise is helpful.
