In 1988 I bought the last 17 no names in the original white shipping box the hardware store in Beloit wisconsin had. At that time they were $2.75 each. Thats the last time I ever seen any. At the fresh water fishing hall of fame in Hayward wisconsin, there I donated one in the wrapper for all to see. That was in 1994 and I havent been back since to see if they displayed it as I requested. I still have about 13 of them. And very affraid to use them any more because every time I do, A big something will grab it and run off with it being it is made of 2# test cat gut between the two hooks, and 2# test mono for the leader. Ya just cant keep the big fish off of them. Yes they were hand made by John Fujita in Calif, but I have temperarily forgot the town. And I didnt know they were still available until two years ago. If I did I would of went to buy all they had. I need a stock pile so I can start using some of them again. They are, as I see it, the best pan fish and bass lure I have ever used. (ever).
