Happy New Year!
I am looking for an entry-level fish finder. I am going to start fishing a lake in Georgia, primarily for striper and panfish, so the water depth will vary - but will probably start out in 30ft and less to get my feet wet.
I have looked at several and seem to be stuck between the Lowrance X47 and the Eagle Cuda 168. Both seem almost identical in features, looks, and control layout. So, has anyone had better experience with one brand over the other? Key qualities would be durability, ease of feature navigation/selection, fish detection accuracy.
Your experience and recommendations are appreciated.
