hello,
i used to fish in medina ohio, at the medina fish hatchery many years ago.
i know that it has been closed for sometime now, but i am hoping someone who used to own it or work it will see this and be able to help in my search.....
i used to buy weighted fishing bobbers from them everytime i was there or when i came back to akron for a visit i usually stopped in.
these bobbers are egg shaped and painted orange on the bottom half and white on the top half. these had a lead pin with a hole in it for you to put your line thru and then push it into the bobber. the lead pin is what makes these unique. they are made of some kind of hard styrofoam type material and came in different sizes.
i have 1 or 2 of these left but pretty worn, i am going to try to download a picture of it so i can send it to people who might think they know what i am looking for, if the pic doesnt show up please email me (mimianky@aol.com)and i can send it in an email to you..
i need to find their name and the mfg. or some thing so i can try to get more...
so if you have seen anything like this or know of someone who might know something i would greatly appreciate any assistance..thx and god bless
mike in kansas city (23yrs now)
