I am looking for the green zinc cromate primer that they use on aircraft but have only come up with a black of unknown composition. I understand the green may not be avaiable anymore. Does anyone know where to get it? Gene: you might check on Dupont 615S&616S VARIPRIME, it's a 2 component self etching primer. I've had good luck with it on everything steel,alu, and over paint. It seems to soak into the metal. READ THE INSRUCTIONS ! you need a good mask, and ventilation ! but its worth the effort, and price. Now another thought , We need a lone star BOAT PAGE.
