I have a Browning Crankin' Rod that is 7' with a Browning Crankin' Reel geared at 4.3:1. I use is on all crank baits from shallow to deep and love it. It is so sensitive that I have sold my spinning rod and reel that I used to use walleye fishing and now use this combo because of the sensitivity. The rod was given to me and I bought the reel and it has become one of my two favorite setup. I used it with 4 lb. test and a 1/4 oz. button head jig in 53-59 ft. of water in Bass Worlds Team Classic on Bull Shoals lake at which we brought a limit each day and finished 7th in a field of 348 boats. This should show you the confidence I have in using it where a sensitive tip is a must. Although they do not market the rod and reel for the sensitivity it has got to be one of the best qualities it has going for it. With the rod at 7' you can fish in very deep water with almost any lure and never get fatigued through a whole day of fishing. Hopes this helps you with your question.
